THE FAMOUS DESIGNER MEETS THE MASTER CUTLER

FlatCut collection is based on its knives unique asymmetric design created by Thomas Bastide, famous French designer creating for the prestigious workshops of Hermes, Baccarat, Christofle among others. Crafted by the re-known Master cutler Claude Dozorme, of Thiers, France, FlatCut knives combine modernity and tradition: they are extremely resistant "full tang" knives. It means their blade go all the way up to the end of the handle in one piece. They are made of extreme high quality steel, rich in carbon and are extremely hard (Rockwell hardness between 54 and 56 HRC), with professional razor sharp blade.

T. Bastide explains: "the originality of this new kitchen knife lies in its asymmetrical shape and the inclination of its handle. The blade is highlighted. The object becomes simple and pure. The handle, with a thicker side, makes its grip overly comfortable ". We've tested it for you: that's surprisingly true!
